I’ve got some good news!

Once again, we hit our ambitious fundraising goal for the quarter, and it’s all thanks to our incredible grassroots supporters like you. I wish that money didn’t matter in politics, but the reality is that our fundraising totals are seen as an important signal of the strength of our campaign.

There is only one major candidate in this race who is not taking money from corporate PACs, Big Oil, or self-funding, and that is me. And we’re still going toe-to-toe on fundraising with Scott Baugh, our likely Republican opponent, who is the TOP PRIORITY for Kevin McCarthy and House Republicans.

We’re showing people around the country what a true grassroots campaign can do. I’m proud of the campaign we’re running and the broad community support we’re receiving. Your support, and your voices, are crucial for the success of our campaign.

And I promise you in return that I’ll continue to be a champion on the issues I’m campaigning on. Too many politicians say one thing to get elected and then turn around and do something else after they’re in office. I take pride in the fact that I’ve always kept my campaign promises and stayed true to the values I’ve campaigned on.

I’m proud to have fought for gun violence prevention, reproductive rights, environmental protection, working families, and more in the California Senate, and I want to take this fight to Congress.
