Mark Bingham was an American rugby player who co-founded the Gotham Knights Rugby Football Club, an inclusive rugby team in New York, to help fight stigma in sports. Unfortunately, Mark was killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, as one of the heroic passengers who stormed the cockpit on Flight 93, which crashed in Shanksville, PA. Every two years, the International Gay Rugby Association holds an international tournament in honor of his name.
