With Election Day just around the corner, we wanted to take a moment to take stock of what we’re up against on the Republican side:
  • On the one hand, we’ve got Jay Obernolte, who’s self-funding -- which means his resources are virtually unlimited. Obernolte was endorsed by President Trump, signaling to voters that he’ll be loyal to the current administration.
     
  • Tim Donnelly, on the other hand, claims to be even more conservative than Trump. For his part, he was endorsed by Rep. Jim Jordan, leader of the far-right House Freedom Caucus.
