John, I recently squared off with Matt Gaetz on the House floor. But before I get into why, can you rush $5 or more to my campaign now so I can bring my fight against MAGA extremists to the Senate?

Listen, it's not rare for far-right MAGA politicians to be in Big Oil's pocket – but honestly, I am fed up with watching these politicians sink climate action time and time again.

So when Matt Gaetz stood up and attempted to block the State Department's appropriations from going toward Paris Climate Accord efforts, I let him have it – and I'm not sorry about that.

The climate crisis is the single most existential threat that our world is facing. The more we let the GOP stall progress, the worse we're making things for ourselves and those who come after us.

By 2030, experts say that climate change could put 132 million people into extreme poverty. If we continue to ignore all warning signs and pump our climate full of emissions, future generations will inherit a planet marked by extreme heat and struggle.

John, we are the ones who can and must stop the climate crisis before it spirals further out of control. We hold the fate of future generations in our hands, and I refuse to let far-right extremists like Matt Gaetz throw away our last chance.

That's why I stood up against Gaetz and his latest round of Big Oil-funded propaganda, and that's why I'm a fierce supporter of the Green New Deal and other progressive policies that can address climate change.
