On behalf of all of us at the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women, we are excited to share that we are hosting the 8th Annual I Will Run For Them 5K on October 21, 2023 from 10am-1pm (MST) in the Pueblo of Taos in Taos, NM. This year, we will be fully back in-person for this family friendly event and we are seeking your support to bring our communities together.
As you know, October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) and our annual run focuses on uplifting the resilience, strength, and spirit of our relatives. This event creates a space to honor survivors, cycle-breakers, and those who we have lost to violence.
We bring together hundreds of people across our region and nation for our run and we would be honored for you to join us in our informational and service provider booth spaces. Priority will be given to current CSVANWMember organizations. Space is limited. Deadline to register is Friday, October 13, 2023, by 7:00 p.m. (MDT).
