Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch to kick off

Downtown Development Month in Irvington

*STATEHOUSE (Oct. 3, 2023) ??*Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch [ [link removed] ], in partnership with the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) [ [link removed] ], will kick off OCRA's Downtown Development Month in the Indianapolis neighborhood of Irvington on Wednesday, Oct. 4.?

Taking place in October, Downtown Development Month celebrates the importance of downtown development throughout the state, specifically through the?Indiana Main Street [ [link removed] ] program, for the economic growth and social development of Hoosier communities.

Irvington is one of the first two Indianapolis neighborhoods to be accepted into the Indiana Main Street program.?
