Friend --

This Sunday Brunch, let’s not leave this election up to chance—make a commitment to vote in the primaries and beyond!

From Nevada to South Carolina, we’ve been gathering Black women across the country to talk about the critical issues facing our families and how we’re going to hold candidates accountable to not just earning our votes but bringing forth real change that impact our communities.

Over the last two weeks, we organized Black women for a family style dinner and conversation in Las Vegas, in partnership with Make it Work Nevada. We also teamed up with Essence and co-hosted a Sunday brunch in Charleston ahead of the South Carolina and Super Tuesday primaries.

Did you catch our livestreams on Facebook? If not, no worries. Take a moment today and listen in to a room of dynamic women sharing their perspectives on what’s at stake in the 2020 election.

Let’s be honest, it’s no secret that voters like you are feeling less inspired and not exactly full of the hope and excitement from years ago.

We get it. But I’m here to ask you to dig deep. This election is too important to sit out and now more than ever we must commit to raising our voices to remove the people in power that successes are built from our oppression.

Right now, today, I’m asking you to commit to cast your vote. Whether your state is voting this coming Super Tuesday or weeks from now, you need to make a plan to ensure your voice is heard in the voting booth.

COMMIT TO VOTE TODAY <[link removed]>

Last night we saw a shift in the polls and a new front runner emerge out of the South Carolina primary. You know why? Because this was the first primary state with an overwhelming Black voter electorate.

This is proof that our votes matter. We ARE the base. And when we march to the polls, we change the face of our democracy.

We can move this country to higher heights one vote at a time, starting with you.

MAKE A COMMITMENT TO VOTE <[link removed]>

Onward,

Glynda
