look so different from others?

In this video, my colleague, Erin Williamson, breaks down The 4 Approaches to Anti-Trafficking Work: a criminal justice approach, a human rights approach, a public health approach, and a moral approach. Check it out!

While Love146’s work leans towards the Human Rights and Public Health approaches, we also value setting a big table – meaning we regularly collaborate with people who take different approaches. We believe that approaching trafficking from a multitude of frameworks can be a strength rather than a weakness as long as we do it with openness and respect.

A big table allows for a more nuanced understanding of child trafficking and encourages continued conversations that can lead to real solutions. At the end of the day, we want the same thing – to end human trafficking. 

There’s room for you at the table, too.
