John,

Ending abortion will require winning the hearts and minds of Planned Parenthood's most important customer demographic: young people.

Fortunately, a growing body of evidence shows that Generation Z is more pro-life than you might think.

Case in point: At least half of the attendees at the Washington, D.C., 40 Days for Life campaign's kickoff event were pro-life students from local universities!

Several of the students shared moving testimonies about why they are pro-life, including one young man who was inspired to end abortion by his brother, who was adopted from China. China leads the world in abortions, and the brother's cleft palate left him at a severe risk of being aborted.

One young woman shared a passionate speech--just a few short weeks after arriving on campus as a freshman!

Council Bluffs, Iowa

Catherine, the longtime 40 Days for Life leader in Western Iowa, is hoping this 40 Days for Life campaign will be her last...

...and she has good reason for that hope, as Planned Parenthood announced the Council Bluffs abortion facility will close sometime over the next year!

Even now, the Planned Parenthood is only open two days a week--but that number will soon shrink to ZERO!

Palmdale, California

The 40 Days for Life campaign in the Antelope Valley held a prayer walk to the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood.

"Multitudes of people came out to join in prayer and song and march through the city streets," wrote Mary from the Palmdale team. "Our pro-life prayer warriors received positive honks and cheers."

Attendees were treated to a powerful talk from a registered nurse--and they came away inspired. "People asked how they could sign up for vigil hours!" Mary noted.

While they were there, the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.”

--Luke 2:6-7

Dear Jesus, you entered the world through the “yes” of your mother. Help us to say “yes” to the needs of those around us, especially the needs of expectant mothers. Open our hearts so that we might generously share your love with others, and help us to be a refuge for women and children seeking safety and care. Amen.

For life,
