*New FRA Leadership ? Keith Gray* Come meet and hear FRA?s Incoming President "Keith Gray".? With decades of experience working on agricultural issues in Washington DC, in both trade association and government service, Keith brings a wealth of knowledge, contacts and insights to FRA.? This is an opportunity to meet Keith and introduce him to the concerns and opportunities of the forest industry supply chain in the Northeast.

*Training the Next Generation ? Mark Savage* This past summer, Brewer High School ran a forestry and logging camp for students, providing them with a summer of in-field training in and exposure to carers in the forest industry.? Through activities such as inventorying timber stands, operating a processor and forwarder on an active logging job, and mill tours, students were given exposure to what it?s like to work in the woods, and provided the opportunity to see careers that might suit their interests.? Come hear BHS teacher and logging camp program director "Mark Savage" talk about how the camp went, how it integrates into the high school curriculum, and plans for the future.? With the forest industry facing workforce challenges from the woods to the mill, this is a great opportunity to hear about a unique program that can help students pursue forest industry careers.
