Yesterday, I was on State of the Union with Jake Tapper. I discussed the path forward following the House narrowly avoiding a government shutdown. I was proud to advocate for ways we can push back against the extremism that is taking hold of Congress and my home in West Michigan.

Our best chance to defeat these harmful manifestations of extremism across our country is by organizing early. In 2022, we did the early work that needed to be done and West Michigan rejected extremism outright – helping me defeat my far-right opponent and send a leader to Congress committed to common-sense problem-solving.
