Friend, over the weekend, we narrowly avoided a disastrous government shutdown. Here's what happened:

1. MAGA Republicans pushed our government within hours of shutting down completely.
2. Democrats provided the majority of votes to keep the government open -- while extremists were STILL voting to shut it down.

Democrats said from the very beginning that bipartisanship was the only way forward. Speaker McCarthy should've heeded our call weeks ago, but instead MAGA Republicans brought us within hours of a government shutdown.

We cannot trust MAGA Republicans with power, and we can't let them take control of the Senate. Sign your name to help me call out their recklessness and make sure everyone knows who pushed us to the brink of a government shutdown.
