John, I was raised to understand the value of hard work and the importance of community.

My parents put everything on the line to immigrate to the United States for a shot at the American dream – and because of their perseverance, and with community support, they were able to open a small business and raise our family.

I joined the military to carry on that legacy. And, after finishing law school, I became an employment discrimination attorney to continue fighting for working families just like mine.

Now, I’m running for Congress to stand against big corporations who think they can get away with exploiting our communities without consequences.

It’s time to get dark money out of politics, protect workers’ rights, and make our economy work for everyday Americans again.
