This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are reminded of the millions of individuals battling this disease worldwide.

After Russia's invasion, Americares partnered with a local organization in Ukraine to secure a bomb-proof shelter specifically for oncology medicine, including medication for chemotherapy.

An estimated 20,000 oncology patients from Kharkiv and surrounding regions, displaced and unable to purchase medication for themselves, are expected to benefit from this lifesaving project.
