Thanks for standing with us to help us reach our end-of-quarter goal as we closed the books for September. However, as truly proud and grateful as I am, I'm reaching out today with an urgent call for us to push even harder to elect Democratic moms up and down the ballot.

Last week, we wrote to you about the "childcare cliff" that threatened to close low-income daycare centers and cut childcare access to nearly 3.2 million children. I'm sad to share with you that Congress failed to stop us from going over the cliff, instead allowing the critical childcare funding to expire over this past weekend.

This latest crisis -- another huge blow to America's families -- reminds us why each dollar raised and every voter reached with precious grassroots resources is so important in this fight.

As we kick off the third quarter, the most important of 2023, we know that our endorsed Vote Mama candidates have hugely consequential elections on the ballot in Virginia and elsewhere this November. Vote Mama candidates running for important Congressional seats also feel the heat; they know how much is at stake for families not only within their own districts but also as Democrats aim to win back the House.

This is why we MUST keep pushing forward even harder than ever and get even more ambitious with our goals. To make sure we start this critical quarter off super strong, we're extending our EOQ goal by aiming to raise another $2,500 by TONIGHT.
