I wanted to reach out because, especially with everything going on, I’m feeling so thankful for your support in Q3. We had a strong quarter because of you.

I spent the last hours of Saturday making sure that Congress moved in time to avoid a shutdown. The spending bill we passed didn’t give us everything we wanted, but it was enough to make sure that we kept the lights on for the American people. Republicans took us to the brink of a shutdown, and it didn’t have to be that way. 

The events of last week underscore just how important it is for Democrats to retake the majority in 2024. Working families should never have to worry about when their next paycheck will arrive, and when Democrats are in charge, they deliver. So let’s remain strong in our dedication to democracy and work to get the right people in office. People who will do their job.
