Notice of Proposed Disposal of State Trust Land in Teton County
The Office of State Lands and Investments ("OSLI"), on behalf of the State Board of Land Commissioners ("Board"), has initiated the administrative review and analysis process related to a proposed disposal of a certain parcel of State Trust Land in Teton County, Wyoming. A Detailed Analysis of the proposed disposal is available for public review on OSLI's webpage at lands.wyo.gov, and within the OSLI's offices located at 122 W. 25th Street, Herschler Building Suite W103, Cheyenne, WY 82002.
The Detailed Analysis analyzes disposal of State Trust Land located in Teton County, Wyoming otherwise known as the "Kelly Parcel''. Maps and legal descriptions of the Kelly Parcel can be found on OSLI's webpage and within the Detailed Analysis. Prior to the Board considering whether to approve or deny the proposed disposal, OSLI must solicit public comment for a period of sixty (60) days.
This notice begins the sixty (60) day public comment period. Public Comments are welcome in writing at; Attention: Jason Crowder, Office Of State Lands and Investments, at 122 W. 25th Street, Herschler Building Suite W103, Cheyenne, WY 82002 or email at [email protected]. The public comment period will end at 5:00p.m. on December 1, 2023.
Additionally, a public hearing will be held in Teton County, Wyoming to solicit verbal comments regarding the proposed disposal. The date, time, and location of the public hearing will be advertised at a later date.
Upon completion of the public comment period, the proposed disposal is expected to be considered by the Board at its December 7, 2023 Board of Land Commissioners open public meeting for approval or denial. Should the Board approve the proposed disposal, it will direct OSLI to dispose of the parcel at public auction with terms as set by the Board.
