Jack, let me make this very simple:

1. Donald Trump tried to steal the 2020 election.
2. Pennsylvania was a key part of Trump's efforts to overturn the election. (Just see Special Counsel Jack Smith's indictment of Trump, which mentions Pennsylvania 20 times.)
3. The Pennsylvania state Supreme Court was a xxxxxx against Trump's insidious legal campaign to overturn the results of the election.
4. If Trump is the Republican nominee in 2024—and, right now, he has an enormous lead over his rivals in the primary—then we need to be prepared to stop another attempt to steal the White House.

Here's why I'm telling you this now: Pennsylvania has an election for state Supreme Court this year—and the Republican candidate seems to be winking at election deniers.

Republican Carolyn Carluccio has openly criticized a state law expanding ballot access and said, "We should be able to go to the polls and understand that our vote counts and understand that there’s not going to be some hanky-panky going on in the back." What hanky-panky? Of course she didn't say, because there is none.

We need to make sure that seat goes to someone who will uphold the law and protect democracy against another attempt to overturn a presidential election.
