My name is Simone Leeper, and I'm the host of "Democracy Decoded." In our podcast series, I chat about democracy with different experts and take a deep dive into the forces that shape our elections. When I’m not hosting this podcast, I litigate a wide range of redistricting-related cases in my role at CLC. I challenge gerrymandered maps and advocate for election systems that guarantee all voters an equal opportunity to be represented in our democracy.

Season 3 focuses on topics like expanding the freedom to vote, increasing opportunities for people to elect leaders of their choice and implementing new systems to prevent corruption and ensure local governments adhere to the highest ethical standards.

This season has been amazing, and I can’t wait to share our final episodes which will give you a glimpse into some innovative reforms that hold the promise of strengthening democracy. I am immensely grateful for the support that Democracy Decoded continues to receive.
