In my mind, the most impactful way to advance environmental and conservation objectives is legislative. And particularly at this time, action at the state level is critical. OLCV has a robust process for evaluating and supporting candidates for state level office, and an equally robust system of tracking and reporting their environment-related voting records (the scorecard). I use both OLCV's candidate endorsements and the annual scorecard to inform my own voting as well as my local political activism. If you're wanting to see action on environment and conservation in Oregon, invest in OLCV.
