Hi John,
It’s been a challenging past few years in the performing arts and entertainment industry.
While many individuals are still recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, now thousands in our community have been affected by the current work stoppage. All of these factors have led to more and more people turning to the Entertainment Community Fund for assistance.
To meet this urgent need, we are launching our Emergency Safety Net Campaign, and are asking for your help! Please make a generous gift today.
The Fund has set a goal to raise $15,000 by the end of the week to ensure that we are prepared to help as many people as possible as we head into the final quarter of the year.
A career in the performing arts can be unpredictable, but it has rarely been as challenging as in recent years. The combined impacts of the pandemic and current pauses in industry work have left many individuals in dire financial conditions, unable to pay their housing or basic living expenses.
Our program teams are now anticipating we will receive even more requests for help in 2024. Your support will make a real difference to someone experiencing insecurity and hardship. Please make a tax-deductible gift now to help those in need.
Thank you so much for your dedication to our community.
Annette Bening (she, her, hers) Chair of the Board
If you have recently made a gift to the Entertainment Community Fund and your gift hasn’t been processed in our system yet, thank you for your continued support.
