In this American regalia which began with a 21 howitzer salute welcoming the President of the United States escorted by the Vice President of the United States and hosted by the Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin in front of representative honor guard formations of the United States, Army, Navy, Marines, Airmen, Guardians and Coast Guard. “When I became the Chief of Staff of the Air Force three years ago, I expressed the need to accelerate change.
