I wanted to send a quick email just to say: Thank you.

It’s been quite an interesting last few weeks. The latest government shutdown drama by Lauren Boebert and the rest of the Chaos Caucus was just yet another reminder of why our campaign to defeat her is so important. And that certainly wasn’t the only reason Boebert made headlines recently…

As I meet with voters across Western and Southern Colorado, people just want the circus to stop. They want a representative who will focus on the people of our district – not themselves. And Congresswoman Boebert’s latest Beetlejuice escapade earlier this month was just another notch in the belt of embarrassment.

The reason I’m emailing you today, though, is just to express my gratitude. Running a campaign against someone like Lauren Boebert takes meaningful resources – especially when she has Super PACs raising millions to spend against me, and when I’m not taking money from corporate PACs like she is.

We just faced our most important end-of-quarter FEC fundraising deadline of the campaign thus far, and when our fundraising report comes out publicly, we are going to have some very strong numbers. I have no one but grassroots donors like you to thank for that.

Yesterday, I celebrated my 56th birthday, and there was no greater gift than knowing I have the love of my family, encouragement from friends, and the incredibly humbling support from people like you as I make this journey once again.

Thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do. I feel more confident than ever that the wind is at our backs and that we will defeat Lauren Boebert in 2024.
