I know you’ve heard quite a lot from my team and me over the past few weeks as we’ve worked to reach our big end of quarter goal on Saturday. And with your support, we crushed it.

Thank you for taking a stand against the MAGA BS, for fighting alongside me as I’ve worked to hold bad actors like Kevin McCarthy accountable, and for getting us across the finish line.

Kevin McCarthy fell asleep at the wheel, and we narrowly missed a shutdown, despite his best efforts.

Let this close call serve as a reminder as we head into the final quarter of the year: Kevin McCarthy and his Republicans are willing to shrug their shoulders during a crisis, even if it means SNAP benefits go dark, or paychecks stop coming through, to further their own agenda.

We’re not pawns, friend. And as we gear up for 2024, we’ll make sure Kevin and his crew know it.
