Senate control in 2024 is going to hinge on a few key races – one of which is Pennsylvania.

My friend and ally in the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Bob Casey, just had a Republican opponent enter the race (who by the way, doesn’t even live in Pennsylvania, he lives in Connecticut), and he needs our support to defend his seat. [link removed]

I’ve been lucky enough to work with Senator Casey on a handful of legislation to improve everyday Americans’ lives. Most recently, we introduced legislation to evaluate the adequacy of black lung benefits to meet the health care needs of miners and their families – miners actually power America, and they deserve access to the best benefits. We also worked on bills to make the adoption tax credit fully refundable and to help schools make sure every child can learn free from fear of bullying and harassment.

And of course there’s the Inflation Reduction Act – the most impactful climate legislation Congress has ever passed – which might not have become law if Republicans had successfully captured Bob’s seat in 2018.
