Hi John, it’s Betsy, Nikki’s campaign manager.
This time last week, we were in full debate prep mode. Today, we are 5 days post-debate, and praise for Nikki’s performance continues to pile up. From conservative leaders to political pundits to early state activists, people are impressed with Nikki’s toughness, her command of the issues, and her conservative policy solutions.

Last week was nothing short of INCREDIBLE. Nikki not only DOMINATED her second presidential debate, but she WON the night.
→ Post Debate Analysis: Debating six other GOP candidates is not an easy undertaking, but Nikki dominated. Although the stage was crowded, Nikki was a STAND OUT.
She WON the night with her toughness and principled command of the issues. Out of every candidate, Nikki was the only one who projected a CLEAR vision for a strong and proud America, and she wasn’t afraid to throw a punch while she was at it.
There’s no denying, Nikki is the tough, substantive leader America needs. Each and every policy stance that Nikki spoke on during debate night resonated with voters across America. Below are Nikki’s stand out answers from the night:
→ Healthcare:“When I am president we will make health care costs transparent. We will put the patient in the driver seat and costs will go down.”
→ Education:“School choice is the great equalizer. If we want to improve education around the nation, put parents in charge.”
→ American energy:“Energy security is national security. We’ll unleash American energy and make America strong and proud.”
→ Economy:“Revive the middle class, empower families, and strengthen our communities—not Washington. Our secret weapon is freedom and it’s time to unleash it.”
→ Government:“If Congress doesn’t pass a budget on time, they shouldn’t get paid. No budget, no pay.”
IMPORTANT CAMPAIGN DATES: The second debate may be in the books, but the hard work is far from over.
→ On January 15, the first-in-the-nation Iowa caucuses will take place. With only 105 DAYS until the first votes are cast, the stakes are now higher than ever. BUT Nikki is in it to WIN IT! UPDATE ON OUR GRASSROOTS MOVEMENT:
Just three days after the debate, we faced our third FEC end end-of-quarter fundraising deadline. Thanks to the flood of grassroots support we received after the debate, we were able to reach this critical goal and CRUSH it!
Another debate and FEC deadline are in the books, but we can't stop there. We are working harder than ever to capitalize on the post-debate momentum, amplify Nikki’s message further than ever before, hold more events across the country, and surpass our fundraising goals.

I’m running for President because my parents came to America more than 50 years ago – an America that was strong and proud, and full of opportunities. I want them to know that America again.
I’m running for President as a military spouse. My husband is deployed and I want him and his military brothers and sisters to know their sacrifice means something – that we do love this country.
I’m running for President for the future of our kids. I have a daughter who just got married and I saw how hard it was for her and her husband to buy a home. I’m doing this for my son who’s a senior in college and shouldn’t have to worry about saying things on a paper that he doesn’t believe in just to get an A.
I’m running for my daughter, my son, and our future generations. I want them to experience the freedom and opportunity that the American Dream has to offer.
I’m running for President because we have a country to save!
I’ve seen that even on our worst days, we are blessed to live in America. But I also know that under Biden’s leadership, times are tough, our future is slipping, and America can be doing so much better.
As governor, I was dubbed a “jobs governor” because I slashed our unemployment rate, brought jobs back to our state, and shepherded in a successful economic recovery.
At the UN I fought for America, made sure our allies knew we had their backs, stood up for Israel even when others refused, and stood up to murderers and dictators to let them know that America was taking names.
I know how to make America strong and proud because I’ve done it before. And I’ll do it as your next President.
As President, I’ll revitalize our economy, support small businesses, stop Washington’s spending sprees, protect our border, champion school choice, and save America’s future.
