Many of my Republican colleagues often say to me that Elizabeth Warren has too many plans.
My response? "What the hell is wrong with that?!" Yes, she has a lot of plans and that's a good thing! Scroll down to see why I believe that Elizabeth is our best bet to win in November. (Warning: it's thought out and detailed - just like Elizabeth's plans).
Elizabeth Warren has said something a few times during her campaign that's stuck with me - if you see a crack in the door, put down your shoulder and hit it as hard as you can. I think that describes how she's fought for progressive wins since before she ever held elected office, and how she'll fight for big, structural change as president.
As Elizabeth's friend and colleague in our state's Congressional Delegation, I've had an up-close look at what she can get done, from her fiery interrogations during committee hearings to her policy plans that lay out a bold, progressive vision for what our government can do when it works for everyone instead of just those at the top. I have never - not even once - had to question whose side she is on or why she's in this fight.
Elizabeth warned of the financial crash years before it hit, and after seeing the devastation it caused for America's working families, she saw an opening to fight even harder for middle-class families, and she took it.

Against the money and lobbyists of Wall Street and giant corporations, she fought for an agency that would protect Americans against financial tricks and traps laid by the big banks. The bureau she helped create has since returned more than twelve billion dollars to over 29 million Americans.
After being blocked by scared Republicans from running the agency she helped create, she was recruited to run for Senate. When Liz got started, she was trailing by 17 points in the polls, but then beat a popular, incumbent Republican who had big business behind him but wasn't looking out for the people of Massachusetts.
Elizabeth was an underdog -- but she worked her heart out. She won on policy, she won with her ground game, and she won because she was in this fight for all the right reasons.
That's why I know Elizabeth can and will beat Trump. I've seen her in action. She fights for the people.
Elizabeth has plans - but she also has a track record of important progressive wins that show us how she can get things done. And her commitment to running a grassroots funded campaign reflects who she wants to serve - the people who can chip in five or ten or twenty dollars, not the giant corporations and their money that comes with strings attached. Chip in $3 today to help fuel her campaign.
I know who Elizabeth is. I know whose side she's on. And I've seen her drop her shoulder, hit the door, and win - time and time again. I will proudly cast my vote for her on Tuesday, and I hope you'll join me.
