As you may have seen, we may have averted a Republican-led government shutdown over the weekend, but the funding bill that passed did not include any money for Ukraine.

Aiding Ukraine isn't just about Ukraine. It's about protecting American lives. If Ukraine falls, our Servicemembers could get dragged into a European conflict. We can't let that happen! 🇺🇸🇺🇦

With that said, we thought it important to bump an email from Alexander Vindman we sent a few weeks ago. Please read it and sign our petition calling on Congress to pass funding to continue our assistance for the people of Ukraine.

Writing to you about something that’s been troubling me lately.

Most public opinion polling shows that the American people still support Ukraine. But fringe Republicans — copying Trump’s pro-Putin, MAGA agenda — are propagandizing the war to undercut that support.

And tonight, whether it’s Trump and Tucker Carlson or the GOP presidential candidates on stage at the debate, we’re sure to hear a lot of the same kind of talk.

That’s dangerous, because it emboldens Putin. And an emboldened Putin threatens not only Ukraine, but the entire world. America included.

The best case for American security has always been for Ukraine to take back its territory and for Putin to be defeated. That remains the case today.

So before the debate tonight, I am asking you to reaffirm your support for Ukraine.
