Back in 2017, we saw the writing on the wall: The Trump-GOP tax cuts for the rich and corporations would blow up the deficit, and Republicans would place the blame on services for working families. This is our current reality.
MAGA Republicans continue to use every opportunity they can to demand outrageous cuts to education, nutrition, the IRS, and more. But, while Republicans use federal deficits as their excuse to cut funding for critical services, it’s their tax cuts under Presidents George W. Bush and Donald Trump that dug us $10 trillion into debt.

Now, MAGA Republicans are trying to extend the Trump-GOP tax cuts, which would add another $3.5 trillion to our federal debt. Extending the Trump-GOP tax cuts would disproportionately benefit the wealthy and GOP extremists would continue to blame our essential benefits and services.
Let’s stop this! Send a message to your U.S. representative right now and demand no budget cuts that hurt working families to pay for tax cuts for the rich and corporations.
