Lawmakers pass bipartisan bill to fund gov’t to Nov. 17 ([link removed] )
Congress was able to reach an agreement on government funding over the weekend, averting a government shutdown before funding expired at midnight on Saturday. The continuing resolution funds the government through Nov. 17, and extends the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).

NAFCU, and other trade associations, wrote to the CFPB Friday to express concerns regarding the bureau’s “condensed timeframe” of its rulemaking to address consumer reporting topics in the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
