Roads
Pave and repair major roads by 2025, arterial and residential in the next decade. Create service teams to respond immediately to citizen concerns (potholes, waterlines, etc.)
Economic Development
Combine all efforts from differing groups to promote Tucson for growth.
Homeless
Establish homeless transition centers in abandoned buildings for re-entry. Provide quick strike teams to address, relocate and clear homeless camps.
Tucson Curb Appeal
Devote resources to clean medians, thoroughfares, abandoned building/lots. Pick up litter, clear weeds, and clean graffiti from all public property.
Parks
Clean and patrol the parks to sustain the bond investment already passed.
Water
Ensure clean and safe drinking water, especially in Ward 5, and sustain for the future.
Marketing Tucson
Update Visit Tucson and fund a robust advertising campaign for visits/moving to Tucson.
University of Arizona
Engage UofA to encourage graduate retention and neighborhood presence. Align University of Arizona with K-12 to encourage spotlight on education.
k – 12 Education
Goal to make 70% of K-12 public school students score at or above grade in reading and math, make students literate in Tucson public schools.
Government Efficiency
Intergovernmental agreements to join parks, police, courts, and other duplicate services.
