John, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for being such an important part of this people-powered movement.  

When I faced my first end-of-quarter fundraising deadline last week, my team and I set an ambitious goal to raise $450,000 in just a couple of days. When it comes to defeating Ted Cruz, I know nothing comes easy – but thanks to dedicated grassroots Democrats like you, we knocked our goal out of the park.

With such a strong showing in our second public reporting deadline, we sent a clear message to Ted Cruz and the GOP: We’re all fired up to flip our state blue, and we’re going to fight to elect leaders who put Texans first – no matter what it takes.  

I’m truly humbled by what this movement can accomplish when we work together, John.

I won’t lie: We still have a difficult few months ahead of us before Election Day. But I truly believe, with the support of this incredible team, we’re going to defeat Ted Cruz and give Texas the senator they deserve.
