The EATS Act, led by Republicans in Congress and Big Ag lobbyists, wouldn’t just continue that legacy, it would actually take us backwards. States have the right to restrict corporate-controlled factory farms from hurting animals. But Congress wants to overrule that. 

It’s not just the animals in danger. Factory farms’ unsanitary, crowded conditions are prime breeding grounds for bacteria and disease. These threats can pass from animals to people and some scientists predict factory farms could be the source of the next pandemic!
