Dear
Friend,
Right now, New York City is in the middle of recovering from
massive flash flooding that shut down subways, flooded streets,
cancelled flights, and impacted emergency care around the city. These
same sites where the flood waters are receding were host to a massive
climate change and social justice march just two weeks ago.
End Fossil Fuels Now was the rallying chant for over 75,000 climate
and social justice activists on September 17th in New York City.
Taking their message to the streets during “Climate Week” kicking off
the Climate Summit at the United Nations. Demanding that President
Biden and the Democrats stop allowing the use of fossil fuels.
The Green Party came out strong for climate. As an endorser of the
National Day of Action, the party’s contingent included Greens from 5
state parties; host state of New York, New Jersey, Maryland,
Connecticut, DC Statehood and locals from Philadelphia, Nassau County,
Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx.
As chair of the GPUS EcoAction Committee and an organizer of the
march, I was heartened by the great turnout on September 17 but there
is so much more that needs to be done. Climate change presents an
existential challenge to the future of human civilization and is
contributing to the rapid worldwide extinction of species. This is a
challenge that the Green Party and its candidates stand ready to
tackle.
"The duopoly has made it clear they care more about the interests
of their corporate donors than the people. We have
the power in numbers and together we can change the country’s
trajectory from corruption to humanitarian policies that put
people and planet first."

Will you support the Green Party’s Green New Deal with a 10-year
plan to transition to 100% renewable clean energy and zero emissions
including a halt to new fossil fuels? A climate emergency must be
declared now to save our planet.
There is no time left for incremental changes. Promoting an
Eco-socialist Green New Deal and electing Greens to office is the path
to overthrowing the power of the fossil fuel industry and corporate
America. Please consider
becoming a sustaining donor today!
In Solidarity,
Mark Dunlea, Co-Chair

P.S. Your ongoing support
is more important than ever. If just a fraction of
folks receiving this email sign up with a sustaining
donation of $5 of $10, we will be in a great position
going into the upcoming presidential election year.
