Fellow Conservative,

Today was proof real Conservative leadership in Congress really matters.

For weeks, I’ve been saying we need to avert a shutdown and tamp down on
inflation by reining in the size, scale, and scope of the federal government. I
voted ‘yes’ to advance a short-term spending bill that allows us to avert a
government shutdown and continue working on long-term spending bills that
effectively reins in spending and inflation, and secures the border.

This is what real Conservative leadership looks like, and a reminder that
protecting our Republican Majority in 2024 is critical to the future of our
Country.

It’s now up to the White House to take the House Republicans’ lead and take
up this measure immediately.
