Hi John — I wanted to reach out one last time tonight to personally thank you.

I’m blown away by how folks have stepped up to show support for my campaign. This week, you’ve heard why this race and tonight’s deadline are so important from US Senator Chris Murphy, Fred Guttenberg, and the most important person in my life, my wife.

These people know me well, and while running for office was never part of my plan, I’m honored and humbled to have their support. I’ll be honest though, at times I'm a bit uncomfortable putting myself out there. But as an Air Force veteran, I can tell you from experience that answering the call during times of crisis is not about comfort – it’s about service before self.

With the many intersecting crises occurring in our country, I’m answering the call to serve. I will take my frontline experience to Congress and work to end needless suffering and violence harming our communities, and to uplift all seeking a better life. I hope I can count on you to stand with me in this fight.
