Tonight at midnight we’ll close the books on a critical fundraising deadline and report dollars raised and spent to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

This report will not only show the strength of Cori’s re-election campaign, but also our progressive movement for change.

Cori is leading in Congress on the critical issues of our time, introducing the Reparations Now Resolution that tells the truth about how slavery and discrimination have been integral in our country’s development. It would provide reparations to descendants of enslaved Black people and people of African descent, and outlines the various forms those reparations should take.

In Congress, Cori is fighting for workers’ rights and wages, introducing numerous worker safety bills while also standing with striking workers demanding a fair contract from corporations that put the profits of their CEOs and shareholders over workers’ wages. Last weekend, Cori helped organize a UAW rally in Wentzville, MO where she was joined by her sister-in-service Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, local UAW presidents and workers in a powerful statement of solidarity.

As the first activist from the movement for Black lives to be elected to Congress, Cori is lifting up the movement’s demands into policy changes. But, because she unapologetically advocates for her constituents and marginalized people everywhere, Cori is under relentless attack by white supremacists and the right wing who threaten her with violence and intimidation on a daily basis.
