You’ve probably been getting a lot of fundraising emails over the past week. I hate to add to the pile, but I promise I wouldn't be reaching out if this wasn’t important.

I just got an update on tonight’s fundraising deadline from Berrett, my campaign finance director. To reach our end-of-quarter goal, we still need to raise $4,635 by 11:59 pm.

Because of our work together this year, Minnesota is setting a national example of progress. But everything we’ve accomplished will be in jeopardy if we fail to hold the line up and down the ballot next November.

Republicans are already on offense, spending money in competitive districts across the state and lying about our DFL trifecta and what we accomplished this year. 

Meanwhile, from bullying the LGBTQ+ community to banning books to ripping away reproductive rights, this GOP presidential primary is a race to pander to the most extreme elements of the MAGA base.

I believe with all my heart that we will rise above the politics of fear and division and win next year. But we can’t stop working to make sure no community is left behind and nobody gets told they don’t belong.

To keep the MAGA agenda out of the White House and out of Minnesota, we’re going to need to fight with everything we’ve got over the next year and a half, and that starts with reaching tonight’s end-of-quarter fundraising goal.
