John, we’re counting down to our LAST end-of-quarter deadline before the critical November elections – and right now we’re still $1,355 short of our goal! So if you haven’t had the chance to give yet, here are FIVE REASONS to chip in now to help Emerge empower bold Democratic women to run for office and WIN!

Women’s representation is sorely lacking at every level of government. Women make up ONLY 28 percent of Congress, and the sad news is that’s a record high. We MUST ramp up our efforts to close this gap by training more women to run. 

2.
Emerge programs are proven to equip Democratic women for success. Our alums saw a 71-percent win rate in the 2022 midterms! Even more impressive, our first-time candidates won at an incredible 43 percent rate – that’s a 30 POINT JUMP from candidates who haven’t had our trainings. 

3.
Currently, there are only two states – Arizona and Nevada – with women representing 50 percent of the state legislature or more, and we have Emerge to thank for that. As the fight for our essential rights continues state by state, it’s more urgent than ever to increase our ranks of Democratic women at this level.

Because of Emerge’s state-based programs, we can make a powerful impact all across the country. We’ve trained and empowered Democratic women in 45 states and U.S. territories! Our unique model means that we have teams on the ground to support trailblazing Democratic women from the minute they decide to run for office and stick with them as they fight for our communities in every state!
