Earlier this week, my team reached out to you regarding our critical FEC deadline. Tonight at midnight, that deadline comes to a close, and I am humbly asking one more time for your support.

Can you please rush a $3 contribution to my reelection campaign before midnight tonight? I cannot succeed in fighting for accountability and meaningful change without your steadfast support.

I am going to level with you: This quarter has proven to be incredibly challenging for political fundraising.

I have been spending a lot of my time on the House floor, negotiating with Republicans, holding lawmakers accountable in hearings, and writing up bills that will benefit Americans. To sum it all up, I have been working hard to fight for the people that elected me.

But that also means I can’t spend as much time focusing on my reelection campaign and fundraising.

This campaign was built from the ground up by grassroots supporters, like you, chipping in a few bucks at a time when they can. And that still stands true today. So the success of this campaign quite literally depends on your support.

But the reality is, political fundraising has slowed for us like never before, and if we don’t catch up by our FEC deadline at midnight and report a strong number, MAGA extremists could come after me and this seat.

I have no doubt in my mind that they want me gone. I call them out for their lies, deceit, fraud, and disrespect. And they know as long as I am in Congress, I won’t be afraid to confront and expose them.

So if I show even an ounce of weakness after this FEC deadline, they are going to send in their candidate to take me down. And we cannot risk having another extremist in Congress.

But tonight we have an opportunity to show them just how strong we are and the depth of grassroots support for my campaign.

So please, if you can today, contribute $3 or anything you can afford to my reelection campaign to keep me in Congress fighting for accountability and the American people. I would not ask if it weren't important.

I am grateful for the support this team has given me so far and I will continue to fight for Americans, our democracy, and the accountability of lawmakers as long as I serve in Congress.
