Hey John, it’s Dylan. I want you to see something. The first end-of-quarter FEC deadline of Gabe’s reelection campaign is TONIGHT at midnight, and this is a screenshot of our ActBlue over the last few hours:

As you can see, our donations have crawled to a halt since my team last reached out. I’ll be frank with you: We need to be doing better, and if you don’t step up immediately, we’re in serious danger of falling short of our $25,000 end-of-quarter goal.

When the clock strikes midnight tonight, our finances will go public, and if Kevin McCarthy senses the slightest hint of weakness in those numbers, he won’t hesitate to exploit it — by any and all means.

Last year, Gabe flipped this seat blue by less than one percent of the vote. That pissed off Kevin McCarthy and the far-right extremists in Congress, and he started throwing his dark money millions behind Gabe’s opponent in hopes of a rematch.

Now, Gabe’s race is already neck and neck, and the government is on the verge of shutdown at the hands of those same far-right extremists, so we can’t afford to fuel Kevin McCarthy’s fire by falling short of our goal.
