WCA releases this report every year because our forests and public lands are not only vital to Washington’s identity and indigenous communities, but they also play a key role in mitigating climate change. While our leaders have made important progress in protecting aquatic lands, such as shorelines and the beds of navigable waters, strengthening the Trust Land Transfer program, and funding efforts to replant after harvest and wildfires – there is still work ahead to meet this moment with the urgency it demands. That’s where your support becomes crucial. Building a strong, united, grassroots team is critical to protecting people and nature as one. All donations will be MATCHED: Thank you for being a steadfast supporter of our mission. Let's make sure our forests are being managed for the well-being of current and future generations. In gratitude, Rachel Baker |
