Our race in Ohio is heating up – so I needed to reach out directly to give you an update:

First , CNN ranked me as one of the most vulnerable senators in the entire country.

Then , my potential opponent – a self-funding GOP millionaire – went on the offensive, flooding the airwaves with an attack ad against me.

Now, I'm falling short of my $100,000 goal – and if support doesn't pick up in the next couple of hours, I'm afraid we won't have the proper resources to fight back.

Experts at FiveThirtyEight say this race could decide Senate control. I know it might seem early, but failing to respond to the GOP's attacks right now could have a serious impact on our ability to keep Ohio and the Senate blue. That's why I have to ask:
