Friend,

This week’s GOP primary debate only proved one thing to the American
public: that the race to the bottom regarding who can prove themselves to
be “the new Trump” continues at a staggering pace.

Noticeably absent again was the former president who, in an attempt to win
over voters in Michigan, chose instead to visit a nonunionized auto part
supplier near Detroit.

While the seven other leading candidates took to the stage, trading
insults and criticizing the autoworker union’s attempts to negotiate a
fair living wage for their workers, they clamored for the spotlight in a
desperate attempt to climb up in the polls.

As Trump continues to enjoy a commanding lead in the polls among the GOP
base – with a comfortable 40% lead over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis – it
remains to be seen who, if anyone, will be able to knock him off his
pedestal.

But no matter who ends up with the GOP nomination it would surely result
in a disastrous four years of right-wing authoritarianism that would
further weaken and erode our fundamental rights and freedoms.

Thanks as always for your feedback and support.
