Kevin McCarthy has proposed an 80% funding cut to Title 1 schools in our district. As a teacher, this makes my blood boil.
John, I’ve been advocating for these students and their families for the past 23 years. I teach at a Title 1 school where almost all of my students receive free and reduced lunch.
McCarthy is cutting funding to our public schools to appease his mega-billionaire donors, and I won’t stand for it.
