With the Republican Texas legislature actively trying to dismantle democracy and the rule of law, it can be easy to lose hope. However, that's what they want, and when we fight back, we can win!

That's what happened this month when a judge ruled that SB-1 — an unpatriotic law designed by Republicans to block voters from voting by mail — was illegal because it violates the Civil Rights Act.

Because of this win, we now have a much better chance of gaining seats in Texas.
