I don't think we've been properly introduced, but my name is Tom, and I'm part of the One Country Project team.

But I need to tell you something.

I have worked on countless campaigns over the years, from city council races to congressional campaigns, and I even worked as the Coordinated Campaign Director in North Dakota when Heidi Heitkamp ran for reelection in 2018.

And here's what I need to tell you: Tessa is right.

The 2024 election will be decisive for our country and the values we are all fighting for. There is no room for us to give up or give in. We have to win the U.S. Senate, the House, the White House, and in countless down-ballot races, and none of that is possible without rural voters.

Connecting with rural voters takes a lot of time (the drive time alone is a lot!), and that's why we need to start now.
