Hi John, it’s Grady -- finance director for Joanna Weiss’ grassroots campaign to keep CA-47 blue.
Apologies for reaching out to you so early on a Saturday, but tonight is our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline.
This is when we hand over the last three months of fundraising data to the FEC. This is great for campaign transparency, but it also means our data will be public for all to see -- including the media and our Republican extremist opponent Scott Baugh.
We need a surge of donations in the next several hours to push Joanna over the finish line. Can I count on you to chip in $3 today?
Joanna is truly putting her all into this campaign. She’s gone from event to event -- speaking to thousands of voters about her vision for CA-47.
I know that Joanna will make a great representative for CA-47 both in Washington and at home.
She is an Orange County native who has demonstrated her commitment to this community -- she has worked extensively as a pro bono attorney, founded a community engagement organization after Trump won in 2016, and raised her three children all in OC.
And we have the momentum on our side -- recent endorsements include Rep. Eric Swalwell, Rep. Lois Frankel, and EMILYs List among dozens of other representatives, electeds, and organizations who know Joanna has what it takes to lead.
But right now, I hope you will cement your support for Joanna with a $3 donation before our end-of-quarter deadline expires tonight. I’m hoping to see 150 donations to keep us on pace of our goal. Will you chip in now?

Thank you,
