The Virginia Public Access Project just reported that there are 14 new key races that could decide which party controls the General Assembly in November.

In 9 of these races, the Democratic candidate has raised less money than their Republican opponent. And in 7 of these races, we’re being massively outspent by the GOP on political ads.

After reading this report, we’ve set a goal of raising $2,000 today to make sure Democrats can hold on in key these races so we can turn Virginia blue. Can you chip in $5 to get us to our goal?

Remember: All 140 seats in the legislature are open, so if Republicans continue to raise more money than Democrats and get their ads in front of more Virginians, those efforts could very well get them across the finish line in these 14 races and give them control of the Virginia Senate and the House of Delegates.
