John, Tonight at midnight marks our FEC fundraising deadline.

Every fundraising benchmark matters, but here’s why this one will be the biggest test yet. Last fundraising quarter, Ken Calvert had a lot more time to fundraise than we did. He ultimately narrowly out-raised us.

This will be the first time Will and Calvert both have full fundraising quarters under their belts. Everyone will be watching closely to see if we have what it takes to flip this seat.

With just FIVE seats between Democrats and retaking the House, the road to the majority runs straight through CA-41.

We came so close to defeating Calvert in 2022, and our chances are even better in 2024: Democrats now hold a +3,000 registration advantage in this district. That's a big reason why experts at the Cook Political report upgraded this race to a “TOSS-UP”

But, the bad news is that Will’s opponent is one of the most well-funded Republicans in Congress. In the most recent fundraising quarter, Ken Calvert hauled in over $1 million -- with a huge portion coming in from corporate PACs.

Unlike Calvert, Will is rejecting corporate PAC money and is funded by individual donors who respond to requests like this one. We can pull ahead of him, but it's going to depend on your support -- especially before our FEC filing deadline.
